Can you spell "technical difficulties"?
On Friday, I had tried to make a post, but Blogger gave me errors when I tried to publish it to my web server. On Sunday night, I figured out a temporary workaround, where I published my blog to a different location and then FTPed the files manually. That worked, except that Blogger cannot regularly update the comment counts. Anyway, please check out Friday's dance and see how bouncing on an exercise ball can be loads of fun.
Despite all my troubles, I did create a new video for you. Enjoy!
Girls Just Want to Have Fun
I know I am not a girl, but I want to have fun, too. And soon, I will go and have fun at work. So exciting! See you Wednesday.

sigh at the fact that i managed to put two entries in and now look stupid oh well great dance DD
At least we don't know who you are, Anonymous. So you really don't come off as stupid, at all. Anyway, DD, you should have put rubber bands all over yourself like that Captain Lou whatever used to do. I never could figure out how he had that one rubber band attached to his face, though.
SONG REQUEST: I FEEL GOOD BY JAMES BROWN
I love Cindi Lauper! Thanks for dancing to that this morning, DD.
Glad you found a work around for posting your dances. I need them this week to make the day go better.
Hope you get the tech stuff sorted out soon, you had me scared.
Hey props for the video. The crossleg-spin move was dope.
this is my favorite all time song!!! thank you!
that was breathtaking. i love this one the best. mainly becuase i have my onw rendition of a dance to this song and we both captured the mother talking so beautifully.
It's okay that you're "not a girl," as your post said. If you listen to the lyrics, you'll see that the song was actually written for a guy to sing. It's about his laborious job of going out with girls.
It was written by Robert Hazard and was originally entitiled "Girls Just Wanna Have Sex." Hazard allowed Cyndi to change the lyrics a bit, though, and made it more acceptable to play over the airwaves of the 80s. These days, they'd probably leave it as is, and produce it as a rap song.
