Even chicken dancers need a break

No, I'm not leaving you. However, I've been feeling quite overworked lately. Although I love dancing, making posts every morning is taking away from the time and energy I need to do other important things. Thus, I have decided that for now, I will reduce my number of dances per week from five to three. For most weeks, this means dances on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I may resume five dances a week at some point. I apologize to those upset by my decision.
So that I do not leave you all stranded, here is a new dance for you.
Wild Thing
I'll be back Thursday (yes, Thursday) with my next dance.

BEST DANCE YET!! Your skill and creativity have gotten better and better. I'm not happy with your dicision but also understand that sometimes even the great ones need a break every once in a while. Keep on rockin' DD!!

Well, at least you've given us a dance with enough energy to carry us over until Thursday. Boo hoo over the decrease in posts, but what cha gonna do? Of course, you know this means there will be even higher expectations for your performances now that they've dropped to three.

ummm...have you been watching old high school cheerleading videos again?!

p.s. I think you should reconsider your choice to downsize. WE ALL MAKE SACRIFICES, DD, we all make sacrifices.

hi, dd. it's my first visit, too. i loved your dance. at the end, were you lip synching "Wild Thing" or were you singing for real? Do you mean you can sing, too? Wow! Maybe one of your 'on' days could include your voice? I'd love to hear it.

Oh no...so sad. I understand feeling overwhelmed with stuff though, so for now I will have to subsidise your off days with your archives...

Perserverance is all I have to say. You're on to something and if you stop now you'll only be a vague memory instead of a legend. I know it is hard to do it everyday but maybe on the weekends you can record a few videos and post them on your off days. Just a suggestion.

Daily means every day, not a few times a week! I protest, LOUDLY! I need my daily fix. I think perhaps someone *Points at you* needs to set his alarm clock for 30 minutes earlier every day so his loyal fans are not deprived!!!

i think it's for the best the dances were getting very repetitive, looked stall and unmotivated.would you rather DD goes to 3 days a week an continues to dance for all of you,or does 5 days a week for a bit longer, burns out an quits?..being a musician myself i can tell you even something you love when "forced" to do it quickly the passion you had can start to fade an in its place comes routine..and things like dancing, music etc shouldnt be about routine or done just to be done.but rather should be and outlet to express oneself an share those emotions thru song or dance..so i say if the man is feeling burnt out an needs down time should all support that an be glad for what he DOES give you rather than what he doesnt give you as the man does it just to do it an share, not like he gets paid so shouldnt feel like "work"..i think the majority of people here will agree with that.

What ever days you decide on I'll check out. I don't always up date my blog every day. It is OK to skip a day or two and it is OK to know yourself well enough to know what is good for you. Whenever you post I will enjoy the dances.

Hey DD,

I myself haven't had the time to check up on all things wild and wacky here on dailydancer.com so I can imagine how you feel having to feed the masses, day in day out..
Take all the time you need, three days a week is great!!
Thanks for the all 80s week last week, sorry I wasn't around to see it live.. Hey, maybe with these extra days, you'll have some time to prepare the ultimate Napoleon Dynamite Dance Mixathon 2005 !!!
Can't wait.. dEvo.
